Actionable Reporting

At the outset of our work on the abi Programme, we run awareness raising events with students and carry out short climate surveys that give us a good idea of what students are experiencing in regard to bullying and aggressive behaviours at school.

The data we gather form the basis for an overview of factors that contribute towards the overall climate in the school, and for detailed class-for-class reports with which principals can easily identify issues that might be in need of special attention. Our reports provide an extremely useful focus for the conversation with staff, parents and students about any anti-bullying initiatives that the school is planning.

Comparison with the data we have gathered from other schools also gives principals and teachers a good orientation in regard to general trends, and makes it easier to put their own school's performance in context.
